CAN THO UNIVERSITY K48 STUDENTS VISIT VIETVET PHARMA FACTORY FOR PRACTICAL LEARNING
Practical field trips play an essential role in bridging the gap between classroom knowledge and real-world industry experience. On July 13, 2026, Vietvet Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company (Vietvet Pharma JSC) had the honor of welcoming a group of K48 Veterinary Medicine students from Can Tho University for an educational visit to its internationally standardized veterinary and aquaculture pharmaceutical manufacturing facility.
1. A Hands-on Experience at an International-Standard Veterinary Pharmaceutical Factory
With the goal of providing students with early exposure to modern pharmaceutical manufacturing technologies, Vietvet Pharma opened its core production areas for the visiting delegation from Can Tho University.
During the visit, nearly 30 K48 students had the opportunity to observe the company's strictly controlled, closed-loop manufacturing process firsthand—from raw material receiving and quality inspection to formulation, production, packaging, and warehouse storage. Witnessing advanced automated production systems enabled the students to better understand how pharmaceutical and veterinary science theories are applied in large-scale industrial manufacturing.
2. Exploring the Quality Management System and Modern Laboratories
One of the highlights of the visit was the tour of Vietvet Pharma's Quality Control (QC) and Quality Assurance (QA) laboratories.

Students were introduced to the comprehensive quality management process, including inspections conducted on semi-finished products as well as final products before they are released to the market for livestock and aquaculture producers.
Practical Scientific Thinking
Vietvet Pharma's engineers and technical experts provided detailed explanations of the operating principles behind modern analytical instruments and demonstrated how quality standards are established to ensure products meet international manufacturing requirements.
This direct interaction not only answered many of the students' professional questions but also helped cultivate the precision, responsibility, and critical thinking that are essential qualities for future veterinary professionals working in the pharmaceutical industry.
